1. CALL MEETING TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL - Chairman

 

2. STATEMENT OF COMPLIANCE WITH OPEN MEETING ACT - Chairman

 

3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE AND INVOCATION - Chairman

 

4. Discussion and possible action in consideration of approval or disapproval of prior meeting minutes for meeting held on February 26, 2024.

 

5. Discussion and possible action to consider, review, approve, or disapprove pending purchase orders for: the general, highway, health, cash accounts and community development block grant funds; transfers; monthly appropriations; emergency purchase orders; various county officers' contracts; monthly reports and various contracts and change orders. The Verification Report on all purchase orders being paid is available for public inspection during the meeting. For questions, please see the County Clerk.

 

6. Discussion and possible action of new business.  (In accordance with the Open Meeting Act, 25 O.S. § 311, new business is defined as any matter not known about or which could not have been reasonably foreseen within 24 hours of time of posting this agenda.)

 

7. Discussion and possible action to re-appoint CCIA Trustee Jimmy Naifeh, District 1, for a term ending 2029.

 

8. Discussion and possible action to consider allowing Creek County Master Gardeners to use the Courthouse parking lot on Saturday, May 4, 2024, for a plant and yard sale.

 

9. Discussion and possible action to consider road repair request from Bristow Public Schools on South 344th West Avenue from Highway 66 north approximately 1600 feet in District #1.

 

10. Discussion and possible action on signing CED #1 Materials Request on one mile of asphalt overlay on Carson Ridge Road going east from Bridge #23 approximately 3/4th mile to West 81st Street South in District #2.

 

11. Discussion and possible action to award or deny project# CO0165-1/2/24 to install new acoustic ceiling tiles in the Court Clerk's office.

 

12. Discussion and possible action to purchase one or more new or used tractors with boom mower, bid #24-17.

 

13. Discussion and possible action on resolution setting priorities for projects for incorporation into the County Improvements for Road and Bridges (CIRB) transportation plan.

 

14. Discussion and possible action to sign engagement letter from Kerry John Patten, C.P.A., for estimate of needs for FY 2024-2025.

 

15. Discussion and possible action to sign a letter of support for Bridge Investment Program (BIP) grant funding for the Belford Bridge in rural Pawnee and Osage Counties and for Bridge 257 over Deep Fork Creek in Creek County and Bridges 85 and 89 Sportsman Acres in Myes County, all in northeastern Oklahoma by the Circuit Engineering District (CED) #1.

 

16. Discussion and possible action to consider surplus and disposal of equipment for the Creek County Assessor's Office - Haley Anderson, Assessor.

 

17. Discussion and possible action to consider surplus and disposal of equipment for the Creek County Highway District #1 - Newt Stephens, Jr., Commissioner.

 

18. Discussion and possible action to consider surplus and disposal of equipment for the Creek County Clerk's Office - Jennifer Mortazavi, County Clerk.

19. Discussion and possible action to consider approving a utility permit request from ONE Gas, Inc. to parallel Overlook Drive approximately 0.13 mile south and 3.01 miles west of the U.S. 75 and State Highway 117 junction in District #1.

 

20. Discussion and possible action to consider approving a utility permit request from ONE Gas, Inc. to parallel 2431 West Taft Avenue approximately 0.29 mile south and 1.14 miles west of the State Highway 66 and State Highway 117 junction in District #3.

 

21. Discussion and possible action to consider approving a utility permit request from TSU ONE to cross West 63rd Street West Avenue approximately 200 ft north of the West 65th Street South junction in District #3.

 

22. Discussion and possible action regarding the American Rescue Plan 2021 funds directed to Creek County by the federal government.

  • Discussion and possible action to consider using ARPA funds on road and bridge projects.
