Creek County Storm Water Management Program

Rainwater transports pollutants from streets and yards and is one of the leading causes of water pollution in the nation. To help reduce the amount of pollution entering the environment, federal regulations require that Creek County, like other communities, implement a storm water management program.

This program involves:

  • Public awareness and involvement of storm water issues
  • Monitoring of storm water discharges into area creeks
  • Construction site storm water control
  • Pollution prevention and good housekeeping at county-owned facilities

To learn more about how you can help improve the County's water quality, check out the brochures listed on the Storm Water/Environmental Brochures webpage.
