 AGENDA

 

 

1. CALL MEETING TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL - Chairman

 

2. STATEMENT OF COMPLIANCE WITH OPEN MEETING ACT - Chairman

 

3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE AND INVOCATION - Chairman

 

4. Discussion and possible action in consideration of approval or disapproval of prior meeting minutes for meeting held on December 4, 2023.

 

5. Discussion and possible action to consider, review, approve, or disapprove pending purchase orders for: the general, highway, health, cash accounts and community development block grant funds; transfers; monthly appropriations; emergency purchase orders; various county officers' contracts; monthly reports and various contracts and change orders. The Verification Report on all purchase orders being paid is available for public inspection during the meeting. For questions, please see the County Clerk.

 

6. Discussion and possible action of new business.  (In accordance with the Open Meeting Act, 25 O.S. § 311, new business is defined as any matter not known about or which could not have been reasonably foreseen within 24 hours of time of posting this agenda.)

 

7. Discussion and possible action to consider changing the county Emergency Service Numbers (ESN) to reflect county jurisdiction for the 911 Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) - Bret Bowling, Sheriff.

 

8. Discussion and possible action to consider signing reimbursement contract between the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) and the Creek County Commissioners for an Environmental Officer grant - Bret Bowling, Sheriff.

 

9. Discussion and possible action to consider signing contract with Vertiv for the servicing of UPS systems for the County's radio towers, which is set to expire in January.

 

10. Discussion and possible action to consider letting for bid for Abstractor Report for the June 2024 Resale, to be opened and possibly awarded on January 8, 2024, bid #24-11.

 

11. Discussion and possible action to sign a resolution concerning CD investments for Creek County general funds - Rick Engleman, Treasurer.

 

12. Discussion and possible action on speed limit on 49th West Avenue, near Kiefer schools.

 

13. Discussion and possible action to consider adding Requisitioning Officer Ashley Siddiki to Depew Volunteer Fire Department (1321-2-8201-2005, 1321-2-8201-4110).

 

14. Discussion and possible action to consider approval of payment for reimbursement for funding of parcel acquisition payment for purchase of highway easement improvements, and any and all damages for Parcel 1, ODWC for invoice dated October 30, 2023, project J/P 30474(04); CIRB-219C(XXX)RB; Creek County; Parcel 1 for District #3.

 

15. Discussion and possible action to consider approval of payment for Project number 30474, Deep Fork of the Canadian River, Guy Engineering invoice #1435-05 ROW acquisition for District #3.

 

16. Discussion and possible action to consider approving a utility permit request from ONE Gas, Inc. to cross 7824 Marilyn Lane approximately 1.17 miles east and 1.38 miles north of the Turner Turnpike and State Highway 364 junction in District #3.

 

17. Discussion and possible action regarding the American Rescue Plan 2021 funds directed to Creek County by the federal government.

  • Discussion and possible action to consider using ARPA funds on road and bridge projects.

 

18. PROPOSED EXECUTIVE SESSION (per 25 O.S. § 307(B)(1)): Discussion of the resignation and replacement of the individual salaried employee of the Board of County Commissioners, the Project Manager.

 

19. Possible action regarding the hiring or restructuring of the position, Project Manager, resulting from the item above.
