 AGENDA

 

 

1. CALL MEETING TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL - Chairman

 

2. STATEMENT OF COMPLIANCE WITH OPEN MEETING ACT - Chairman

 

3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE AND INVOCATION - Chairman

 

4. Discussion and possible action in consideration of approval or disapproval of prior meeting minutes for meeting held on February 27, 2023.

 

5. Discussion and possible action to consider, review, approve, or disapprove pending purchase orders for: the general, highway, health, cash accounts and community development block grant funds; transfers; monthly appropriations; emergency purchase orders; various county officers' contracts; monthly reports and various contracts and change orders. The Verification Report on all purchase orders being paid is available for public inspection during the meeting. For questions, please see the County Clerk.

 

6. Discussion and possible action of new business.  (In accordance with the Open Meeting Act, 25 O.S. § 311, new business is defined as any matter not known about or which could not have been reasonably foreseen within 24 hours of time of posting this agenda.)

 

7. PROPOSED EXECUTIVE SESSION (per 25 O.S. § 307(B)(1)): Discussion of the employment, hiring, appointment, promotion, demotion, disciplining, or resignation of the individual salaried employee of the Board of County Commissioners, the Deputy Commissioner of this Board.

 

8. Possible action regarding the employment, hiring, appointment, promotion, demotion, disciplining, or resignation of the individual salaried employee of the Board of County Commissioners, the Deputy Commissioner of this Board, resulting from the item above.

 

9. Discussion and possible action to open sealed bids for 3-month bridge and highway materials and professional services to award at the March 13th regular meeting, bid #23-13.

 

10. Discussion and possible action to remove Receiving Officers George Griffin and Grant Fitchy and adding Karen Smith and Justin McCleery for 146th Street South RRID (4200-6-7001-2005; 4200-6-7001-4110).

 

11. Discussion and possible action to consider approval of a juvenile detention contract with Mayes County for the remainder of the 2022-2023 fiscal year - Bret Bowling, Sheriff.

 

12. Discussion and possible action to consider allowing the Sheriff's office to use the Courthouse parking lot on Saturday, May 20, 2023, for the Creek County Law Enforcement Memorial Service.

 

13. Discussion and possible action to consider approving a utility permit request from East Central Electric Cooperative to cross and parallel 211th West Avenue to Slick Road in District #1.

 

14. Discussion and possible action regarding the American Rescue Plan 2021 funds directed to Creek County by the federal government.

  • Discussion and possible action to award sealed bid, bid #23-11, for the City of Sapulpa, ARPA project #1566-1-74066-4110.
  • Discussion and possible action to transfer AED cabinets and AED units to various offices.
  • Discussion and possible action to consider using ARPA funds on road and bridge projects.
