AGENDA

 

 1.CALL MEETING TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL - Chairman

 

 2.STATEMENT OF COMPLIANCE WITH OPEN MEETING ACT - Chairman

3.PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE AND INVOCATION - Chairman

4.Discussion and possible action in consideration of approval or disapproval of prior meeting minutes for meeting held on February 6, 2023.

5.Discussion and possible action to consider, review, approve, or disapprove pending purchase orders for: the general, highway, health, cash accounts and community development block grant funds; transfers; monthly appropriations; emergency purchase orders; various county officers' contracts; monthly reports and various contracts and change orders. The Verification Report on all purchase orders being paid is available for public inspection during the meeting. For questions, please see the County Clerk.

6.Discussion and possible action of new business.  (In accordance with the Open Meeting Act, 25 O.S. § 311, new business is defined as any matter not known about or which could not have been reasonably foreseen within 24 hours of time of posting this agenda.)

7.Public hearing to consider adding 141st Street South between Sections 12 and 13, Township 17, Range 11 East, approximately 3,450 feet from the west corner to the Road Maintenance System in District #1.

8.Discussion and possible action to consider approving the application of the Oklahoma Safety Grant for the Creek County Sheriff's Office - Bret Bowling, Sheriff.

9.Discussion and possible action to let for sealed bid for a metal storage building for the fairgrounds, bid #23-12 - Jon Keiffer.

10.Discussion and possible action to consider signing funding agreement for Project No.: J3-6110(004)CI, N3800 over unnamed creek, 2.5 miles north, 1 miles east, and .9 miles north of Slick on Slick Road in District #1.

11.Discussion and possible action to consider approval of ODOT 324a claim form for project J/P 30474 - Deep Fork of the Canadian River, for District #3.

12.Discussion and possible action to consider signing memorandum of understanding between Creek County and the Muscogee (Creek) Nation to add several county roads to the National Tribal Transportation Facility Inventory.

13.Discussion and possible action to create an Opioid Abatement Settlement fund maintenance and operations account, 1251-1-2000-2005, and to direct the Creek County Treasurer to deposit funds into newly created account.

14.Discussion and possible action to consider extending a utility permit request, originally approved on October 24, 2022, from Tim Staton to cross Kellyville-Slick Road approximately 0.9 mile east of the county gravel pit on Highway 16 in Districts #1 and #3.

15.Discussion and possible action to consider extending a utility permit request from East Central Electric Cooperative to parallel and cross South 241st West Avenue east of Dripping Springs Church in District #2.

16.Discussion and possible action to consider extending a utility permit request from East Central Electric Cooperation to parallel 245th Street South and 241st Street South near Highway 33 in Districts #2 and #3.

17.Discussion and possible action regarding the American Rescue Plan 2021 funds directed to Creek County by the federal government.

  • Discussion and possible action to consider using ARPA funds for the purchase of security equipment for the courthouse.
  • Discussion and possible action to consider using ARPA funds on road and bridge projects.

18.Adjournment - Chairman.
