AGENDA

 

 

1. CALL MEETING TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL - Chairman

 

2. STATEMENT OF COMPLIANCE WITH OPEN MEETING ACT - Chairman

 

3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE AND INVOCATION - Chairman

 

4. Discussion and possible action in consideration of approval or disapproval of prior meeting minutes for meeting held on May 4, 2026.

 

5. Discussion and possible action to consider, review, approve, or disapprove pending purchase orders for: the general, highway, health, cash accounts and community development block grant funds; transfers; monthly appropriations; emergency purchase orders; various county officers' contracts; monthly reports and various contracts and change orders. The Verification Report on all purchase orders being paid is available for public inspection during the meeting. For questions, please see the County Clerk.

 

6. Discussion and possible action of new business. (In accordance with the Open Meeting Act, 25 O.S. § 311, new business is defined as any matter not known about or which could not have been reasonably foreseen within 24 hours of time of posting this agenda.)

 

7. Discussion and possible action to consider signing Proclamation for National Police Week, beginning Sunday, May 11 through Sunday, May 17, 2026 - Bret Bowling, Sheriff.

 

8. Discussion and possible action to recognize the retirement of Sergeant Michael E. Marcum for his 15 years of dedicated service to the Creek County Sheriff's Office - Bret Bowling, Sheriff.

 

9. Discussion and possible action to consider approving a written quote by P&D Plumbing for the Fairgrounds, project # FB 76-5/11/26 Installation of 6 Frost Free Water Hydrants for RV and Food Trucks.

 

10. Discussion and possible action to consider applying for the Oklahoma Cooperative Circuit Engineering Districts Board Solid Waste Program grant.

 

11. Discussion and possible action to consider amending Resolution 2026-30, authorizing cooperation with ODOT on submission of amendments to the functionally classified county collector routes in District #3 to the Federal Highway Administration pursuant to 69 O.S. § 654.

 

12. Discussion and possible action to consider implementing the Damage Assessment Standard Operating Guidance (SOG) for Creek County Emergency Management - Chuck Kerns, Emergency Management Director.

 

13. Discussion and possible action to consider applying for the Safe Streets and Roads for All Grant for Fiscal Year 2026.

 

14. Discussion and possible action to consider approval or disapproval of an Inter-cooperative agreement between the Board of County Commissioners and the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation (ODWC) in District #2.

 

15. Discussion and possible action to let for sealed bid for the purchase of refurbished 800mhz radios for the Sheriff's Office, bid #26-11.

 

16. Discussion and possible action to remove Chad Blankenship and Ty Lewis as Requesting Officers for Kiefer Volunteer Fire Department Accounts (1321-2-8204-2005, 1321-2-8204-4110) and add Tanner Hill as Requesting Officer for Kiefer Volunteer Fire Department Accounts.

 

17. Discussion and possible action to remove Tanner Hill as Receiving Officer for Kiefer Volunteer Fire Department Accounts (1321-2-8204-2005, 1321-2-8204-4110) and add Ty Lewis as Receiving Officer for Kiefer Volunteer Fire Department Accounts.

 

18. Discussion and possible action to direct the Creek County Treasurer to credit the Election Board's Maintenance and Operations account (0001-1-2200-2005) with $15.00 for a refund from CINTAS, as per Title 62 O.S. § 335, and procedures implemented by the State Auditor's Office.

 

19. Discussion and possible action regarding the American Rescue Plan 2021 funds directed to Creek County by the federal government.
