SMAPC Agenda BOA Agenda Floodplain Management TAC Agenda SMAPCCreek County exercises planning, land division, and zoning authority through the Sapulpa Metropolitan Area Planning Commission (SMAPC) in the unincorporated areas of Creek County. All land division issues are reviewed, and final action is taken by the SMAPC. All planning and zoning matters are reviewed and recommendations by the SMAPC are then forwarded to the Creek County Board of Commissioners for final action. Members: Creek County Board of Adjustment (BOA)The Board of Adjustment is an appointed body which serves to hear appeals and variances from the strict terms and requirements of the Creek County Zoning Regulations and to hear and decide special questions as authorized by the Zoning Regulations. Most commonly, the Board of Adjustment hears appeals in the form of Variance requests and Special Exception requests. Creek County Floodplain Management BoardThe Creek County Floodplain Management Board is an appointed body which serves to hear and decide all applications for development (building structures, adding or removing fill dirt, or other such man-made work) within the FEMA-defined 100-year floodplains. Creek County Technical Advisory CommitteeThe Creek County Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) is an ad-hoc organization of utility providers, development-related state and local agencies, and other affected development-related organizations which meet and provide comment and recommendation to the SMAPC on all new developments. |
